What is the Milk Peel Procedure?

You don’t need any anaesthetic, the treatment is a completely painless. Firstly, your face or skin will be thoroughly cleansed and then the milk peel is applied and left on the skin for a few minutes. At this time you may get a slight tingling sensation. The peel ingredients are then removed from your skin.

Our Easy TCA 15% Peel is a medium grade peel with an ideal peeling depth from basal layer unto papillary dermis. This is ideal if you are trying treat more troublesome skin conditions which make this stronger peel really popular with our patients.

You can expect to see some visible signs of peeling (desquamation) over a period of approximately 2 – 4 days following the peel. Its main benefit being that it works deeper into the skin than the glycolic Milk Peel, helping to bring brand new fresh pink skin to the surface.

The active ingredients in the TCA 15% Peel are Trichloroacetic acid, ascorbic acid, citric acid, lactic acid, physic acid, mandelic acid and maleic acid.

What course of TCA Peel do we recommend?

Up to 4 sessions are recommended for the best results with a minimum of  1-week intervals. Patients should combine this more intensive course of TCA Peels with a well-tailored daily skin care routine at home that may include their moisturiser, serum and sun protection.
